kEVIN jEFFERSON

Dr. Kevin Jefferson is a 5 time all American, Southern University Hall of Fame member and 15 time SWAC Champion in the 400/200/4x400.

He has posted personal best times of 20.41 in the 200m, 10.25 in the 100m and 45.60 in the 400m. Coach Jefferson also has a 4th place finish in the 400m at USA Indoor National , 5-time NCAA collegiate finalist, USA Olympic Trial /professional experiences and numerous USATF Nationals appearances.

Coach Jefferson has experiences in coaching high school, youth , college, and professional athletes. He has worked with many professional athletes with a focus on speed, agility , and life coaching.

He also has 4 years as an Athletic Director and over 20 years of educational experience with a previous USA Level 1 Coaching Certification.

Matthew Glenn

Coach Matthew is an all around sports participant. His highlights include making his varsity football team in his freshman year and varsity Basketball in his sophomore year. Matthew has ran track from the age 10 specializing in the 400 and 800.

His accolades in track include being a part of the 2 mile relay which won county and regional titles, which help the team qualify for states (MD).

Matthew has a degree in Electrical Engineering, which he focused on in college and opted not to commit to track or his other sports.

In college however he played in intramural basketball competitions. Matthew has taken his knowledge of track and basketball and has coached since 2014. His leadership doesn't stop there. He also  instructs and administers golf lessons (currently 9 hcp) as well as bowling. 

His goal is to use scientific methodology to tailor a plan to help each kid exceed in life and in sports. Through constant assessment and attention to detail he works to strengthen where reinforcement is necessary.

SCHYLER COPELAND

Coach Copeland brings his secret sauce to the X-Factor experience. He has a passion to learn and share what he has learned with each student athlete. Though football was his first love, he was bitten by the track and field bug. He is our resident jump expert. He has taken his hunger for knowledge to becoming a coach that is making a mark. In his short career as a track coach, he has already produced state champions and state record holders.
